Eamonn started experimenting with the Cyanotype process two years ago. It involves mixing two chemicals to make a light sensitive solution, which can then be painted on to a wide range of surfaces. Once the surface is dry, objects are placed on it and are then exposed to sunlight for a short period of time. The surface is washed in running water and slowly a ghostly image of the object starts to appear.
Most of the prints shown here are on paper and Eamonn has used various objects to produce these pieces including plants, bird skeletons and toys.
